CASAA alpha for 6.x has been released on Drupal.

The awaited release comes after a long period of development and testing within many large publications' websites.

The framework was released with integration with the Domain Access and cTools modules. The integration with the Context module has not been completed yet but, the integration is still in the scope for coming releases, especially, for the 7.x release.

Development has begun on CASAA 2.x.

There are a lot of features and other requests for the current system that the framework isn't strong enough to handle. Also, in my opinion, it's not expansible enough without clogging the code and killing organization and performance.

A couple of the new features that can be expected are:
- Integration with the Domain Access module to allow stronger, more targeted mapping across multiple local domains.
- Wielding the power of CTools to simplify the interface and work flow.

Here it is! The blockbuster event showing Fall what seasons are all about.

Below, you can get the same Power Point presentation written and use by myself in the live presentation. Also, the code for the module is now available for you to peruse and expand your knowledges.

Also, feel free to leave comments and other feedback about the session. I would love to hear about how awesome I am. ;)

*After the session I will post the video and photos from the session. I will also have the code available to download to let you have a closer look.

I have officially released the the latest stable version of the CASAA module for Drupal.

This release contains many features, such as, a search feature to allow quick searching of existing mapping settings. Plus, mapping setting columns are now sortable to help admins more quickly find their settings.

For more info on the release, check out the release notes on Drupal.org: Release Notes

Thanks to all the users and developers that have contributed to making this module better and better!

Thanks to all of the feedback from the community and fellow team members, I have finally worked out and ringed the system of it's largest bugs plus, have been able to get the performance aspect of the module fine-tuned.

With all of that I'm am confident and ready to take the system out of beta status and into full release status.

There will be some major changes with the core framework module and the included plug-ins but, no changes to the db and data structure.

As of yesterday, the CASAA beta module has been officially released on Drupal.org.

This release is only a Beta release to get the core module out into the world and allow the community to begin to use and develop for the framework itself.

The module is available here on this site as well as Drupal Project: CASAA.

I'm deprecating the issue queue for the CMF module because all of the issues therein have been resolved with the upcoming release of the CASAA module that will replace the CMF.

Issues that deal directly with plug-ins for the system will be moved into their own specific issue queues so that they can still be viewed and reviewed for all pending work.

The CASAA (Context Ad-Serving and Analytics) module is slated for full release at the end July. An exact date has not been determined as of yet.

We, at Morris DigitalWorks, have been working like dogs to optimize our Drupal sites' performance by trying different caching modules and combinations of configurations and yet, we hadn't found the most optimal solution until earlier this week.

06/23/2009 - 17:00

The CMF (Context Management Framework) is about to make the transition to become the CASAA (Context Ad Serving and Analytics) framework.

Why the name change? Because of many context frameworks that are available for Drupal and other systems on the web, I decided to change the name to help give the system a stronger standpoint in terms of branding.

I'm attending DrupalCon Chicago, March 7-10, 2011
